“Uuhhmm, I was just hanging around—” The metal from up above came crashing down to his head with a clank, bouncing right off and hitting the floor.
Yuya rubbed his head and laughed awkwardly, still perched on Reiji’s lap. He could tell that he needed to say more than that for it to be believable.
“You know, just… dusting? Your office is filthy.”
“I clean and tidy my offices each and every day,” he commented. It was possible he had missed a spot or several spots, so he was willing to pass it up. He sighed, putting his hands on Yuya’s hips to urge him off his lap while looking at the other chair across him as a directional look where he can sit instead.
Before Yuya can go, he leaned in closer and spoke in a lower tone. “If I wanted you to clean, I would have hired you as one of my maids.”
"I’m a ketchpup?” Yuya laughed, only imagining the hilarious look on Reiji’s face right now, “Okay, I’ll be right over~ Whatcha gonna do to my tail, huh?” -falls onto Reiji’s lap from the ceiling vent tbh-
“You may very well be, if you kee—”
He nearly drops the phone out of his grasp due to the sudden…surprise. Shock plastering over his face at the stunt.
“What were you doing in the air vents above one of my offices?"
Yuya quietly sneaked up behind the older male, close enough so that he could reach out and feel the fabric of his long red scarf. "Hm... So it IS soft..."
“Is it?” There was a gentle tone to his voice, like someone would have guessed he was smiling at the comment if they hadn’t seen Reiji’s expression. The president shifted back in the chair, craned his neck to see Yuya better from the corner of his eye.
“Right this way,” he said shortly. Reiji had lost sight of Yuya several times now in the large building, though he always kept finding him soon after he noticed. Leo Duel School was huge, and it’s not only just the school on campus Reiji planned on giving this special tour.
He halted in his footsteps, let his hand hang in his pocket, and lifted up his glasses with the other. “We can go at your pace. Whatever may interest you, I will show you the way.”
